Saturn and Jupiter: Your Personal Time Management Mentors

2 | Embracing Time Management Through Astrology

In our quest to better manage the precious time we have, we can draw wisdom from ancient philosophies and insights from astrology. The Stoics, for example, embraced the reality of death as a natural part of life. Marcus Aurelius reminds us that understanding our mortality encourages a deeper appreciation for life. They teach us that while we cannot control when we die, we can control how we live.

Michel de Montaigne advocates for mental clarity and knowing oneself, shedding unnecessary anxieties with humour and empathy. Søren Kierkegaard emphasises the importance of active engagement with the present, rather than lingering on the past or obsessing over an uncertain future. Carl Gustav Jung points out that the anxiety we experience often stems from avoiding the work we need to confront.

Merleau-Ponty viewed time not as a static line but as a living network of our intentions and projects. Rollo May suggests that true freedom lies in the ability to "pause between stimulus and response," allowing us to translate vague anxieties into creative tasks.

Astrology as a Framework for Understanding Time

Astrology offers a unique framework to understand and manage our relationship with time. By studying the charts of clients, friends, and even historical figures, I have come to see Saturn and Jupiter as vital components of our personal time management.

Saturn, the last planet visible to the naked eye, represents the boundaries and challenges we face. It teaches us about discipline, hard work, and the reality of living within limits. Conversely, Jupiter embodies expansion, wisdom, and the potential for growth. The area governed by Jupiter in your chart reveals where you can find meaning and feel confident venturing into the unknown.

Workshops for Personal Growth

I am designing a series of workshops that will explore the birth chart and the unique ways one can intentionally devise time management tools that respect and nurture one’s authentic essence and rhythms.

If you’re interested in harnessing the combined energies of Saturn and Jupiter to better manage your time and realize your potential, these workshops will provide valuable insights. If you're eager to start your journey before the workshops begin, I invite you to consider one-on-one coaching sessions with me for personalised guidance and support. Stay tuned for more details coming after the summer!
